International Activities

Telemedicine has been evaluated, adopted, adapted, and implemented all over the world. It has been significantly used in a variety of applications, including remote and extreme environments (alpine, space, battlefield, arctic and jungle) and for education. It has been utilized extensively in education by linking people to people across the globe by overcoming barriers, language, culture and geography. The linkage across the globe, whether by Internet, satellite of any other mode of communication is a cornerstone to collaboration and sharing of knowledge.
